Whimsy
Nature isn’t always logical! Or predictable. Take flight for example. Birds and mammals evolved flight independently. What gives? What about the wonder of metamorphosis, the infinite varieties of flowers and insects, the enormity of a hurricane, the complexity of an ant colony or the minuteness of a virus, all manifesting from the same core matter. All the variety. All the random acts of nature playing out in one vast terra firma! Predictable? Logical? Probably not. Beautiful? Absolutely!
Our thoughts are similarly random. They skip, hop, ebb and flow. They twist and turn in unpredictable fashion like science and nature and the flow of evolution. Often they manifest in beautiful serendipity. At the very least, they catch our attention with their quirk!
